The Nova Vista Foundation is a family foundation formed in 2024.
Our mission is to help ensure a livable planet with shared prosperity for present and future generations. In practice, this means we work on the climate crisis. Our funding is focused on:
- Policy advocacy in high innovation-capacity countries to increase government support for key low and zero-carbon technologies in the food, heavy industry, and energy sectors, including alternative proteins, green steel, and more.
- Accelerating the transition to a plant-based food system via institutional advocacy and corporate campaigns.
- Activist efforts to reshape the political landscape and create an electoral incentive for more ambitious climate policy.
While our primary focus is environmental, a smaller portion of our giving focuses on alleviating suffering and advancing progressive causes, with an emphasis on interventions in education.
